L'orchestra che sta suonando per voi rappresenta l'incantesimo moderno di un processo iniziato con l'intento di rendere la musica fruibile dal grande pubblico e non solo dalla classe nobile, infatti il genere Caffè Concerto privilegiava un contatto più diretto e meno formale con lo spettatore. Il fine era ed è di creare un'atmosfera frizzante ma garbata, un intreccio magico tra cultura alta e gioiosa esplosione di vitalità.

In "the most beautiful literary salon of Europe", as Napoleon called Piazza San Marco, lapse into the notes of Caffè Concerto, a form of entertainment that has its origins in the late eighteenth century. The orchestra which is playing for you represents the modern spell of a process started with the intention of making music accessible to the general public and not only by the noble class, in fact Caffè Concerto generally favoured a more direct and less formal contact with the audience. The purpose was and is to create a sparkling but graceful atmosphere, a magic weave between high culture and a joyous explosion of vitality.
